ChargePoint: Electric Vehicle Charging On the Go App Reviews

We have used Chargepoint EVSEs since Dec. 2012 and been very happy with the consistent operation and support. What is missing, however, is the capability to alert more than one email or mobile phone with this app. Chargepoint requires an additional account for this capability, though it should be relatively simple to add a second notification number/address for the owner of the account. I have requested this addition. I hope other users agree and will contact Chargepoint with the same request.

I love this app, but why does the new version have a GPS on constantly? This is draining my battery and does not improve my search for chargers. Put it back to locations services while app is in use, please!

Got an update that was useless. The app couldnt find station though Blink & Plugshare show many in the area. Waste time. Deleted it. There are other apps that are reliable and function by finding my location instantly and correctly. This app couldnt wipe its arse with a bed sheet.

The sign up page is larger than my device screen and wont scroll. I cant fill in the last few fields. Also: this app does not have a demo mode. 3 stars because what little I saw looked nice.

This app is terrible and confusing. While they claim you can use it to unlock a charging station, its super confusing and you need an active connection for it to work. Given that many chargers are located in underground garages with no coverage, this is useless. Needs to interface with Apple Pay or otherwise utilize NFC capabilities.

Excellent integration with the new CP Home charger, records history of charging on CP HOME and commercial setting chargers.

Rather lame app. They need to collect feedback from actual users, not from software developers who are necessarily biased. 1. Bring Apple Watch support 2. Need to show when station is still plugged in, but drawing no power, so we know when it is OK do disconnect “parking EV” user.

Dont upgrade to this version, if you still use iOS 7.

App crashes if iOS7, with no way to download any previous version. Ridiculous.

Hey we really dont need to know how long we are connected to the charging station, both home and commercially a better information would be how long the "juices" are flowing, do we need to know we were hook up at home for 10 hours? Supply information that EV owners want to share with curious ICE owners. Also a "timer" built into the commercial side would be nice to comply and let others get access to the charging station. With push notifications saying its time to move your EV.

The app works decently well now and the signup bugs seem to have been fixed. Glad to see progress!

Need the website really to get started. App does not allow me to enter my Ev--does not know there add 2016 model year cars.

Very good app

It us almost impossible sign up from an iPhone. Items that need to be filled in are outside of the viewable area. Unable to sign up. This needs a fix.

I am a leafer and use this app extensively . Not only Chargepoint app is best for locating charging station but also to they show station info as well. Very reliable, neat and totally love it! I wish there was some station animations on the maps .Dont know why some peeps are giving one star. Rude yall!

The update is great. Finally a way to show how much energy and the associated cost of at home charging. Keep up the good work!
