ChargePoint: Electric Vehicle Charging On the Go App Reviews

This application is so easy to use for tracking the electricity charging of my new Smartcar. It reports the number of miles I can drive with the electricity I charge in a minute.

App works fine, but how can you not support someones region and provide values in km/h? Theres no option in settings to select miles or kilometers so every month you get an email based on miles per gallon and how much money you save based on average US gas price. Should be based on the state or county that you live in.

I can not find the option to waitlist on the app as it was advertised. Tried to reach out to customer service but no response.

The app is very misleading. It shows on the map free charging station and when you get there you realize that its NOT. What a waste of time and money.

Wish I wouldve known sooner.

I activated a new card within the app and have to wait for it to be mailed for me. Id give more stars if it created the card in the app and put it in my iPhone Wallet.

Great for finding charging stations on the map, including current availability, and for tracking your charging over time. I especially like the option to notify you when a charging station at a particular location comes available.

Station available notification is working as expectedly.

This app is great! It shows where charging stations are located (you can filter by port needed for your EV) and it tells you if they are in use. You can check your charging status, the price and hours. You can view popular times the stations are used, add tips, start a charge from your phone. You can connect your ChargePoint Home and it will send you reminders to plug in. The app works great - very user friendly.

This app has only gotten worse over time. It works, but it isnt great. I frequently have to kill the app to get it to update. They dont listen to feature requests. It is a necessary evil for public charging, but avoid the home charger at all costs.

I can find stations in crazy remote areas live how people leave tips as well. EV is the future!!

This is a great app but performance in speed is absolutely the worst IOS app I have ever used.

For DTLA user: all charging stations are in the expensive parking garages with daily parking rate of $30 and up. Or monthly parking rate of $300 and up. In addition, charging fee for electric vehicles ranging from $3-$5 for most vehicles. If charging at USC campus, pay $12 for parking then may get free charge. Overall, the app is sufficient in finding charging stations. But parking fee is high. After owning my first electric vehicle, Im not certain it be fuel efficient or more economical than driving a gasoline vehicle. Im no longer a fan of electric vehicle when I pay soooooooo much to charge.

Weird that it cant tell you cars battery percentage, just kWh. Can find more ChargePoint stations on PlugShare than via CP app for some reason. Also - should have an Apple Watch app. Seriously!! It needs an Apple Watch app!! Still!!

Beautiful app and great service! Would love to be able add ChargePoint Card to my Apple Wallet!

Works great for remotely monitoring charging. Edit:The newest version is sluggish compared to the previous one. It still works, just takes longer to locate my position.

Have always charged at home so far, but love being able to see how much I am spending per charge and per month on electricity.

I want notification via txt update once the station is available. I set up it but apparently its not working. I have to continuously check if the station is available. Please fix your bug...
