If you are someone who tracks energy efficiency, you cant access the full precision session kWH in the app. You must go to the desktop website in order to view the full precision kWH. Please display this full precision in the app too!

The app is great, works well. The status screen is perfect, with a graph and state of charge. Starting a charge is also a breeze. Love the update! Glad they removed the stop button. If you are stopping your charge you should be moving your car. Makes sense to pay for time spent in the spot, since you are denying others the opportunity to charge. Wonder if the people complaining used to leave their gas cars parked in front of the pump after filling up?

UPDATE: Wow! Chargepoint listens to its customers. The latest update gave us an AWESOME charging status screen, complete with our car showing up on the map and PERFECT graphical representations of charging status. The "stop" button is also back - as one of those people intent on never charging over 90% to conserve battery longevity, thank you! So glad CP listens to its customers - but please stop "testing our reactions." The charge stop feature is important to EV owners. -- Original review -- Chargepoint tried this before: remove charge session control - users revolt, use other chargers, Chargepoint reneges and adds the functionality back. This time, we got a GREAT UI update. The app looks beautiful, is snappy and responsive, but they silently removed session control AGAIN. Please learn from your mistake. You tried it, Blink tried it...its not what your customers want. Its not about occupying chargers while not charging - its about making more money. Ive NEVER had an issue with a full EV camping in a spot. Let your customers and charge station owners regulate their business...jumping in the middle just makes you look greedy! Home page should be a status page, not a map. Show me my car on that map, and its charging status - along with a stop button.

Thought it was working well. Pulled in to a station we found on the charge point map. Security guard told us to leave. Discussed this with charge points. Rep wasn’t concerned. Besides this the app is ok.

First time using this app, it was fast and easy and very useful!

See all charging stations in the area (not just ChargePoint). See your charging status (energy consumed, GHG, costs, time charging). Great integration with ChargePoint home charging station. Great graphics. Would love to see pictures of charging stations. Maybe in the next release.

There is no route planning. Also the app cant find my location. It seems to only to find stations in the metropolitan area. Since this virtually useless as far as Im concerned Im going to delete the app.

It used to work well. But recently it sent out wrong notifications, doesnt display correct charging time, or status, etc.

Quite simply a must have. The third leg of the three legged EV stool. 1. Your EV 2. Your keys to that EV 3. This App Works great and very informative!

Great app, but really annoying that the satellite map view doesnt allow full zoom. This is a super simple software fix and I reported the issue to them two months ago, but it still hasnt been fixed. Hope it comes out in the next release.

When starting the app while plugged into a Chargepoint station, it used to default to the charging status page where I could easily stop charging. Now it defaults to the map and I have to navigate through several screens to stop charging. Please either restore the old behavior or at least let us save the default page of our choice in settings. I never even use the map. My companys chargers arent even listed on it.

Worst interface. Coverage only good for ChargePoint stations. So many better options in the App Store.

This is a good app. A couple of improvements are needed: 1. Earlier version would default to charging activity once plugged in. Now we have to go through a couple of screens to go back. It would be good to have that functionality restored. 2. There should be a way to manage reservations through the app. Reserve, snooze, accept or decline once its our time to charge. Similarly it should alert via the app/iOS notifications regarding reservations. This will be very useful.

This is a fairly useless app since it does not show any of the DC Fast - Combo charging station within my driving range. I do not need to know where Level 2 station are, because I have one in my garage. I reported this to Chargepoint, and apparently they dont think this needs to be fixed. Use Plugshare if you want a reliable app to find charging stations while on the road. This app doesnt even deserve 1 star.

I see both DC and L2 stations - others should try using the filters to show DC - app works well and shows charging status which I really like

Do not expect that if it says there are open charging spots they more than likely will not. No details as the where the spots are in the parkades as well Tye number of total spots are not reflected properly as well.

Just hangs on launch screen and never opens. Whatever happened to basic SQA?
